About Singles International (SI)
SI FMCA Spotlight Story.
In nineteen hundred eight four, SINGLES INTERNATIONAL became a FMCA Chapter in the International Area (INTO). We have gatherings and pre-rallies at FMCA Conventions and Area rallies. We publish a bi-monthly newsletter we call the Scuttlebutt ((SB)) and available on our NEW Web (si-fmca.com)

The Singles enjoyed being volunteers but as an INTO Chapter this was not always possible and with a large membership in the south, we formed a FMCA Chapter about 1995 that we call the SE Happy People so we could volunteer at SEA Brooksville FL in Feb. We reserve the Boy Scout Camp for our Pre-rally and average over 50 coaches. We have an entertainment chairman who arranges the evening activities for dancing, and I have introduced several SI members to Karaoke. One year we had a carpool to Tampa. We even managed to get lost a few times. Some enjoy playing cards and bingo etc.… Now History

With an interest in dancing and fellowship about 2005 several SI formed a group to promote dancing at the Skyline Ranch RV Park in Bandera TX and for 12 days in early April, it is dancing for beginners in the morning and advanced in the afternoon being taught by professional instructors. Then in the evening it is music by the various bands to listen and dance to and other programs. Again, the volunteer teams to provide a Breakfast each morning and other activities and all for a budget price $60.00 Much more details on our Web Site at (si-fmca.com)

At FMCA rallies we announce the location of our daily 4PM Happy Hour in the Daily Newsletter and invite all Singles to come and check us out and join us in our activities. (Our dues are $10.00 per person and application at the last page of SB)

As a Chapter, we excelled at Bean Bag Baseball and some success at Bean Bag Toss. At the Chapter Fair we display our Trophy’s, Ribbons, and Medals we have won at Bean Bag Baseball, Parades, and Chapter Fair. I am Captain of FMCA Games, so I have the support of the Singles to coordinate the very popular Card Bingo at evening entertainment and during the convention we manage the Bean Bag Toss. I have my special system for awarding the winning teams and the results are posted at the FMCA Information Center the next day. (Review scoring cards in our SB April 2018 at (si-fmca.com). We award FMCA Bonus Bucks and candy for winners at Card Bingo. We do enjoy being MC of the games as an SI Chapter.

Again, consult us at (si-fmca.com) and the SB for current activities and with recent elections, we plan on increasing events and with our recent vote to include towable an increase in membership. I also introduced our own SI Bonus Bucks to recruit new members. We are the yellow.
For friendship…
The Si’s are my extended family and truly my enjoyment.
